GOND :-
Gond community is also found in Loisingha, Patnagarh, Belpada, Khaprakhol, Puintala, Balangir, Agalpur and Deogaon blocks of Balangir District. They are martial and chivarous tribe. Their traditional language was ‘Gondi’, but now they are interacting in western Odisha language. Now, there dress code is similar to general community. They are depending upon jungle for their livelihood.e.collection of Mahua flowers, tola, sal leaf, kendu leaf etc.In the lean season, they are migrating to outside state in search of their livelihood.Bascically, they are working as daily labourers.
